The Love of Jesus

The love of Jesus is the source of salvation.

He loves, he looks, he touches us, we live.

~C.H. Spurgeon

Higher, Nobler, Fuller!

Aspire to a  higher, a nobler, a fuller life.

Giving - C.H. Spurgeon

In all of my years of service to my Lord,

I have discovered a truth that has

never failed and has never been compromised.

That truth is that it is beyond the

realm of possibilities that one

has the ability to out give God.

Even if I give the whole of my worth to Him,

He will find a way to give back to me

much more than I gave.

   Charles Spurgeon

C.H. Spurgeon - A Christian

A Christian ought to be a COMFORTER,

with KIND words on his lips,

and SYMPATHY in his heart;

he should carry SUNSHINE wherever he goes,

and diffuse HAPPINESS around him.

~C.H. Spurgeon

C.H. Spurgeon -

An ounce of heart knowledge is worth a ton of head learning.

Come, my soul, sit at Jesus' feet and learn of Him all this day.

~C.H. Spurgeon

Charles Haddon Spurgeon - Anxiety

Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow

only today of its strength.

~C.H. Spurgeon

C.H. Spurgeon

God loves to see the hearts of

his people glowing towards himself.

Let us give to God our hearts, all blazing with love,

and seek his grace, that the fire may

never be quenched; for it will not burn

if the Lord does not keep it burning.

~C.H. Spurgeon

Spurgeon - The Tempests

Winds and Tempests - C.H. Spurgeon

We need winds and tempests to exercise our faith,

to tear off the rotten bough of self-dependence,

and to root us more firmly in Christ.

— Charles H. Spurgeon

C.H. Spurgeon - Birds on the Wing

If not always soaring,

we may be as birds

ready for instant flight:

always with wings,

if not always on the wing.

~C.H. Spurgeon

C.H. Spurgeon - Two Evils

Of two evils...

choose neither.

~C.H. Spurgeon

C.H. Spurgeon - Happiness

It is not how much we have,

but how much we enjoy,

that makes happiness.

~C.H. Spurgeon

Grace

Between here and heaven, every minute that the Christian lives will be a minute of grace.

~Charles H. Spurgeon

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

~John 1:14

C.H. Spurgeon - Humility

C.H. Spurgeon - Showers of Blessing

All kinds of blessings God will send-

He will send 'showers of blessing.'

Look up today, O parched plant,

for a heavenly watering.
